San Diego Trip

Greg  had a conference in San Diego, so we took the opportunity to drive out there to meet him.  It was the perfect no-stress, inexpensive get-away.  We were able to use our Lowell Observatory annual passes again to get free admission to the Balboa Park Science Center and Natural History Museum.  We have definitely gotten our use out of those passes.  We’ve been several times to the Arizona Science Center, to the Orlando Discovery Museum,  Anaheim Discovery Center, and both museums in San Diego – all FREE!  We spent the whole day playing at the museums and checking out the beautiful architecture of Balboa Park.

 

 

 

 

     

 

 

     

We stayed an extra day after the conference so that we could have a chance to spend time with Greg at the beach.  The kids loved watching the seals at La Jolla.  It was hilarious to watch a grumpy little seal bossing all of the other seals around. Almost as good as Sea World!
