We had a GREAT 4th of July weekend this year. We started our celebration off with a yummy dinner at Clint & Kristin’s house and fireworks at Anthem Park with all of the cousins.
And of course we took full advantage of the 3-day weekend by going to the lake a couple times. We got hooked on the boating lifestyle six years ago while I was still pregnant with Camryn. There is just something therapeutic about being out on the water. Greg has said that the Family Proclamation has “Boating’ written all over it. When else would an entire family be confined to an 18 x 7-foot space for several hours at a time (and enjoy it!)? We’ve had many great discussions out on the lake and have seen our kids’ relationships and confidence grow as we have these fun experiences together. We will always cherish our memories at the lake.
We finished the weekend off with a fun barbeque with the Mullers. The kids swam, jumped on the trampoline, & had fun with sparklers and fireworks.
Mmmmmmm! Gotta LOVE red food coloring!
I LOVE America!!!
